Quick Verdict

Kaspr is the pragmatic pick for European SDRs and recruiters who prospect inside LinkedIn and want GDPR-aligned direct phones and verified emails at published self-serve prices. Budget teams will like the free tier and credit rollover; heavy dialers should model credit burn carefully or step up to Cognism itself.

What is Kaspr?

Kaspr is a LinkedIn prospecting data tool — now part of the Cognism group — whose core product is a Google Chrome extension that surfaces verified B2B emails, direct-dial phone numbers, and company data while you browse LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter Lite. The company behind it, KASPR SAS, is a French company registered in Paris (RCS Paris 843 898 396, registered office at 8 rue Dunois, 75013 Paris), and it operates as the data controller for the business profiles it compiles. Following its acquisition by Cognism, Kaspr sits in the same portfolio as its enterprise sibling, positioned as the self-serve, SMB-friendly option while Cognism targets larger teams with contract pricing.

The pitch is simple: rather than buying seats on a large standalone database, SDRs, recruiters, and founders keep working inside LinkedIn and click a widget to reveal a prospect's contact details on the spot. Captured leads flow into a web dashboard where they can be organized into lists, enriched in bulk via CSV, and synced to CRMs. Kaspr also layers lightweight LinkedIn automation on top, plus enrichment workflows that trigger on new contacts or CRM entries. Its differentiator is GDPR and CCPA-aligned European data sourcing at a published, self-serve price point — a niche between US-centric databases and enterprise-priced Cognism.

How the Kaspr Chrome extension works

The extension is the product's front door. After signing up at app.kaspr.io and confirming your email, you download the Chrome extension and connect your LinkedIn account — a step Kaspr makes mandatory, since the widget only operates in the context of your browsing. Notably, Kaspr requires your LinkedIn account to have at least 20 connections; the company frames this as a security measure to deter spam-account creation. The Kaspr registration email does not need to match your LinkedIn email.

Once connected, the widget appears on individual LinkedIn profiles, and — depending on your plan — across Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite as well. Kaspr also supports data discovery in LinkedIn groups and event attendee lists, not just profile pages. When contact data is available, the widget signals it (a small animation on the icon), and you can reveal emails and phone numbers with one click, then save the lead directly to your dashboard without leaving the page. The interface includes an "Advanced Search" option that digs deeper for additional, more accurate data — chiefly phone numbers — at the cost of one extra credit when it surfaces more information.

Data coverage and the credit system

Kaspr markets a database of 120M+ emails, 90M+ phone numbers, and 50K+ active companies. Coverage skews European, which is the flip side of its GDPR positioning: phone accuracy is strongest in its core markets (France in particular) and thins out for North America compared with US-centric databases.

Everything in Kaspr is metered through credits, and understanding the credit model is essential before buying:

  • A credit = one piece of contact information. Credits are consumed to "discover" an email or phone number — 200 credits buys the contact data of 200 people, in Kaspr's own FAQ framing.
  • Three separate credit pools. B2B (generic, role-based) emails, direct (personal) emails, phone credits, and export credits are metered independently. Phone and direct-email reveals each consume their own credits, so fully enriching one contact (direct email + phone + export) can burn 2–3 credits.
  • Unlimited B2B emails on every plan. Generic B2B email reveals are not credit-metered on any tier, including Free — a meaningful cost advantage for teams whose motion is email-first.
  • Annual billing front-loads credits. On annual plans, 12 months of credits are added to your account up front, and unused credits roll over — a materially better deal than monthly billing, where unused credits can lapse.
  • Add-on credits. Subscribers can top up at any time. Current pricing runs from ~€0.35 per phone credit in small batches (250 credits for €875) down to ~€0.20 at 10,000 credits; direct email credits from ~€0.16 down to ~€0.11; export credits from €0.10 down to €0.03 at volume.
  • Shared credits on paid plans. Starter and above can pool credits across all users in the workspace; on the Free plan each of up to 20 team members has an individual, non-shareable allowance.
  • Advanced search costs extra. Using Advanced Search consumes one additional credit when it returns richer data.

Key features

  • LinkedIn Chrome extension — one-click reveal of emails and direct phones on LinkedIn profiles, groups, events, Sales Navigator, and (on Business) Recruiter Lite.
  • Verified emails — direct emails labeled by verification status; unlimited B2B (generic) email credits on every plan.
  • Direct phone data — the headline draw for calling-heavy motions; phone credits are the scarcest resource in the credit model.
  • LinkedIn cadences — automated invitations and message sequences executed natively from the dashboard; the FAQ describes three workflow types: LinkedIn, Enrichment, and CRM.
  • Enrichment workflows — rules that enrich contacts in bulk as they arrive from CRM sync or CSV imports, with monthly limits on launches and leads per launch that scale by tier.
  • Lead lists, notes, and tasks — save, edit, and export leads, track activity, and organize prospects into lists (3 lists on Free, 10 on Starter, unlimited on Business).
  • Email and dial from the dashboard — send emails and launch calls directly from saved leads.
  • CSV enrichment — upload CSVs of LinkedIn URLs for bulk enrichment (Free: 3 files/month, 25 rows; Starter: 3 files/month, 500 rows; Business: 10 files/month, 1,000 rows; Enterprise: unlimited, 10,000 rows). "Enrich from LinkedIn Search" bulk-enriches an entire People search export.
  • Integrations — HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Brevo (Sendinblue), Lemlist, Aircall, Ringover, Zapier, plus an API on higher tiers (60 requests/minute on Business, 120/minute on Organization/Enterprise).
  • Service provision for bulk data — for jobs over 1,500 contacts, Kaspr offers a managed service via contact@kaspr.io.

Pricing

Pricing is per seat with monthly or annual billing (annual saves up to 25%), in EUR, GBP, and USD:

Plan Price (annual / monthly) Credits (annual billing) Notes
Free €0 15 B2B email, 5 phone, 5 direct email, 10 exports per month Extension, unlimited B2B emails (referral-gated), 3 lists, up to 20 free users
Starter €45/user/mo (€59 monthly) 1,200 phone, 60 direct email, 12,000 exports/yr Sales Nav extension, shared credits, rollover, Zapier, 3 workflows, limited API on request
Business €79/user/mo (€99 monthly) 2,400 phone, 2,400 direct email, 30,000 exports/yr Recruiter Lite, 2 admin seats, custom permissions, API 60 req/min, reporting
Enterprise / Organization Custom Unlimited phone, email, and export credits Intent data, advanced Salesforce enrichment, SSO, enterprise compliance

Credit economics matter: phone and direct-email reveals consume credits separately, so fully enriching a contact can cost 2–3 credits, and free-plan exports are capped at 10 profiles. High-volume teams should model cost per enriched contact — not per seat — before committing, and should check add-on credit pricing against competitors' flat rates.

Data protection and compliance

Kaspr's GDPR story is unusually concrete for this category. Its privacy policy (last updated December 2025) is published in 20+ European languages, and the company operates a public opt-out form allowing individuals to remove themselves from the business profiles shared with customers. Users in the EU/EEA/UK can exercise access, portability, and erasure rights via privacy@kaspr.io, and the policy names complaint channels to the CNIL (France) and ICO (UK). Kaspr also publishes a Personal Data Charter and "Do Not Sell My Information" page. For buyers selling into European markets, this documentation is a practical advantage — though it does not eliminate the compliance diligence a data-driven outbound motion still requires.

Who it's for

Kaspr fits SDRs, recruiters, founders, and small sales teams whose prospecting lives inside LinkedIn and whose target market is Europe — particularly French-speaking markets, where phone coverage is strongest. The free plan (up to 20 users, unlimited B2B emails) is a genuine trial path. It is less suited to teams needing deep US phone coverage (Cognism or US-centric databases fit better), high-volume dialers who would burn through phone credits quickly, or organizations that require unlimited credits without contract negotiation (Enterprise tier, custom pricing).
